MEDICATION ASSISTED TREATMENT (MAT) OPTIONS

Telehealth/virtual

YHRC offers telehealth appointments to start MAT or answer your questions. We make it easy! We come to you with a laptop, set you up on your own device/phone, or you can come to our office. It can be done in a car, outside, or in the comfort of a home or safe space. Prescriptions for MAT are usually available same day.
Virtual appointments are for buprenorphine only; methadone is not available via telehealth.

in-person appointments

Our team can connect you with various treatment options in our area (or neighboring areas) based on level of care desired. We will work with you to schedule appointments, explain next steps, drive you to your appointments if needed, and answer any questions along the way. Whether it is in-patient rehabilitation, or outpatient treatment, our team is ready to help you navigate these systems of care.

methadone support

If you are interested in Methadone for MAT, our team can provide rides to and from your initial Marysville appointment, peer support and patient advocacy, and ongoing transportation assistance to the local Grass Valley clinic once you're in their system. Whether it is a ride from YHRC or another ride service, we will ensure that you have a way to and from the clinic so that you don't miss your dosage.

what else does our program offer?

  • If you need financial assistance to purchase your MAT prescription or cover your MAT visit co-pay, we can help. This is on a limited basis and available as funds allow. This is offered for up to 90 days from your first MAT appointment.

  • We provide rides to & from…

    • Aegis clinic in Marysville Tue-Thurs,

    • The pharmacy for MAT prescriptions

    • Local treatment centers for appointments or dosing

Subject to availability. If we are not able to drive you, we will arrange secondary transportation and cover the cost. Call/text us to discuss scheduling a ride (530-362-8163)

  • Every Wednesday from 1-3pm we host a MAT clinic at the Spirit Peer Center (276 Gates Place, Grass Valley). We can setup transportation assistance, discuss treatment options or harm reduction, answer questions, or connect you with one of our MAT providers.

  • Want to talk about your opioid use without being pressured into treatment? Do you have questions about how MAT works, how to prevent overdose, or how to use safer? Our crew is available for harm reduction peer-support! We can also accompany you to your MAT appointment (virtual or in-person) for advocacy and support.

we believe that all forms of treatment should be low-barrier, affordable, accessible, compassionate, and non-stigmatizing.
